Hi, I’m Jenny Pena, NBC-HWC, HCA-RHC™, DPP Lifestyle Coach, CIHC and I specialize in helping men and women with prediabetes lower their A1C, balance their blood sugar, and prevent diabetes. I understand how overwhelming it can feel after being diagnosed—not knowing where to start, worrying about needing medication, and struggling with fatigue, cravings, and weight gain. That’s why I’m here to guide you every step of the way. Together, we’ll build sustainable habits around nutrition, exercise, sleep, and stress management—tailored to fit your lifestyle. My goal is to empower you to take control of your health and achieve lasting wellness.

My Story: From Prediabetes to Prevention Advocate

A few years ago, I received a diagnosis that stopped me in my tracks—prediabetes. I’ll never forget the moment my doctor explained what it meant and the risks that lay ahead if I didn’t make a change. The idea of living with diabetes, or even worse, its complications, was terrifying. I knew how Diabetes could impact my life because I had family members that were Diabetic and was able to see family members pass away due to Diabetes-related complications. But that fear became my fuel.

At the time, my A1C levels were climbing, and I was prescribed medication to help control it. Deep down, I knew there had to be a better way—a way to take control of my health naturally and sustainably. I immersed myself in learning about nutrition, exercise, and the science of blood sugar regulation. Through small, consistent changes to my lifestyle, I managed to lower my A1C, regain my energy, and eventually come off medication altogether.

This journey wasn’t just a personal victory; it became my mission. I know how overwhelming it feels to face a prediabetes diagnosis and how confusing it can be to not know what to eat or do to prevent Diabetes and lower a1c levels. That’s why I became a health coach specializing in diabetes prevention—to guide others on their path to health, just as I found mine.

Today, I help people like you lower their A1C, prevent diabetes, and build sustainable habits that support long-term health.
